A service that empowers women to better care for
their heart health
Challange
Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide, with the number of women affected steadily increasing. Many heart conditions are closely linked to lifestyle factors, and multiple contributors drive this rise. In response, we have developed a holistic support system designed to empower women to take control of their heart health.
Approach
We chose to focus on promoting health rather than emphasizing disease. With this positive approach in mind, and considering the complexities of overall heart health, we have carefully defined our target audience and the activities included in the service to align with this vision.
Result
As a result, CURA is a non-profit, subscription-based service dedicated to empowering Italian women in managing their heart health. By fostering awareness around cardiovascular disease (CVD) and providing essential tools for risk factor management, CURA offers a holistic support system. This includes activity-based support groups, personalized assistance from a dedicated health ambassador, a goal-setting and tracking platform, and the innovative HeartBox service, which lends medical devices to help women monitor their health. CURA’s mission is to inspire women to take control of their cardiovascular well-being and to cultivate a supportive community for long-term heart health.
